Meet Dr. Taryn Weil

weilDr. Weil is a proud graduate of the University of Michigan, where she earned her undergraduate degree in psychology as well as her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She then moved to Washington, DC, where she completed her pediatric dental residency at Children’s National Medical Center. She was recently recognized by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry with the Richard C. Pugh Award for scoring in the top three percent nationwide on the pediatric dentistry board exam. Dr. Weil is particularly interested in providing dental care for children with autism spectrum disorders, and her research on this type of treatment has been published in Pediatric Dentistry, Journal of Dental Education, and Special Care in Dentistry.

In her free time, Dr. Weil enjoys trying new restaurants in the city, taking barre, spin, or yoga classes, and traveling as much as she can. Her passion in dentistry is to provide a positive and fun dental experience for her little patients! She lives in Washington, DC, with her husband Jameson and their cockapoo puppy Desmond Howard.
